Statement
The mission of ASDHA is to preserve, uphold, and enhance
the practice of dental hygiene.
Goals of ASDHA
- To encourage collaboration of dental hygienists with the dental team.
- The ASDHA will provide continuing professional education to advance
the art and science of dental hygiene.
- We serve as an effective liaison among national, state, and local
associations.
- We will promote oral health awareness and practice.
- We will establish and foster communication with the Alaska Dental
Society (ADS).
- We will identify mutually beneficial purposes among ASDHA, ADS, and
ADAS.
