Cook Inlet DHA

I've enjoyed my presidency with CIDHA; working together with the Alaska Dental Assisting Association in putting together CEs, networking with fellow hygienists and meeting the new hygiene students. However, as my family grows and I also take on the challenge of continuing my education, I feel that it is now time I step down from my 4 years as president of CIDHA and give the opportunity for new blood and enthusiasm to take over our local hygiene association.

We are in desperate need of volunteers, for without, CIDHA will be force to become inactive with the end result of dissolving. I know I'm not alone when I say that I would hate to see this happen. I will be stepping down as soon as a replacement is found; feel free to contact me if you have any questions or are interested in keeping CIDHA alive.

I would like to give a huge Thank you to Michele Steinke. She had been a wonderful asset to CIDHA and without her help and support I wouldn't have been as successful. She is a valuable asset to our profession and I hope there are a few more hygienists, like her, who are willing to make a commitment to their professional organization.

, RDH
CIDHA President
